Special expertise in olive oil
Due to its high price, olive oil is often adulterated, so both identity and quality parameters are crucial in the laboratory analysis of olive oil. Our experts will show you the appropriate analysis options. With our high level of expertise in food sensory, we are a reliable partner at your side. Our officially approved panel, the Hanseatic Olive Oil Panel (HOP), provides you with validated sensory results on quality. It checks whether the olive oil is ‘extra virgin’ and also assesses fruitiness, bitterness, pungency and harmony to reveal production and storage errors. The HOP seal, the quality seal of the Hanseatic Olive Oil Panel, allows you to communicate the qualitative characteristics of the olive oil to your target group in a clear and comprehensible way.
