Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is the ability of systems, equipment and installations to function in their operating environments without causing unintended electromagnetic effects.

Eurofins has extensive experience in EMC for many categories of devices, ranging from household appliances to information technology and industrial equipment. Our state-of-the-art test facilities include 3 m and 10 m anechoic and semi-anechoic chambers, screened rooms, free field and other test stations; enabling measurements up to 40 GHz. Our EMC test facilities are accredited by DAkkS and A2LA for all major test procedures.

We offer the following tests:

• EMC testing for IECEE CB schemes and CE conformity
• EMC testing and approval service for the motor vehicle directive (E-mark)
• Measurements according to specific automotive manufacturer standards such as BMW GS 95002, VW TL 81000 and TL 82066, Mercedes MBN LV 214 and MBN 10384, MAN M 3285
• EMC testing for the aviation sector (DO-160)
• Development-accompanying measurements and modification service
• Measurements according to RAL guidelines (Blue Angel)
